Palmer Hills golf course is an award winning public 18 hole golf course designed by William J. Spear. The course and driving range are located in Bettendorf Iowa, which is part of the Quad Cities and built on land purchased from the David Palmer family in 1971.

Palmer Hills was established in 1974, and is home to 100 year old oak trees, rolling hills, ponds, and a meandering creek that comes into play on 11 holes. A variety of teeing options make the hills and water a challenge that is playable for golfers of all levels.

The par-72 golf course at Palmer Hills in Bettendorf, Iowa measures over 6500 yards from the back (black) tees. It was designed by William J. Spear, ASGCA, and opened for play in 1974.
